Job description

As part of the “System Engineering” team, you will oversee:

In development

  • Draw and converge with engine supplier of the activities to be performed to ensure flight performance (integration, transport, preparation before test and flight, monitoring ârameters,and maintenance to reuse)

In Production

  • Engine acceptance validation file

  • Engine follow up book

  • Engine controls validation

  • Engine MRO

 

Main duties will consist of:

User Manual needs and delivery

  • Interface between engines supplier and MSP teams to support Kourou ELS operations set up (Fluids, mechanical and avionics)

  • Interface between engine supplier and MSP teams to support AIT Vernon and Kourou for factory set up and transport (Fluids, mechanics and avionic)

  • Interface between engine supplier and MSP teams to support ground board connections and operations before flight and for recovery

  • Engine Focal point for tests preparation and during tests

Engine Follow up from delivery to recovery

  • Definition Acceptance at delivery

  • Follow up engines anomalies and risks for tests and flight

  • Follow integration and tests and controls

  • Definition of the reusable conditions for engine

Definition synchronized sequence and exploitation

  • Define with engine supplier the synchronized sequence and controls associated

  • Ensure convergence between architects and engines supplier of the CONOPS, monitoring parameters and minimum exploitation

 

Working in tandem with the company's Fluid Propulsion experts, your day-to-day tasks will involve interfacing with the provider of the launcher’s main engine (ArianeGroup).


Preferred experience

🎓 Qualification

  • Master degree or equivalent in engineering

  • A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in the field of propulsion, fluid systems, test engineering and/or launch operations.

  • Autonomous, proactive attitude towards resolution of problems and good at team working.

  • A good knowledge of ArianeGroup environment & ways of working, including test facilities organization and SSE requirements, would be highly appreciated.

Date and working site

  • Working Site: Vernon, with frequent travels to La Défense Engineering facilities.

  • Desired start date: January 2025
