Our ambition for Malt Germany is to transform this market into one of the strongest in Europe! To achieve this goal we are looking for an SMB Inbound & Account Executive German Market. You will focus on new logo acquisition and have a high impact on our new business revenue growth. As a trusted advisor, you will actively work to ensure Malt is always at the forefront, acting in your clients’ best interests and ensuring a world-class service. To succeed in this role, you will need an entrepreneurial mindset, adaptability, and a willingness to go the extra mile to guarantee our rapid expansion.

Key responsibilities ✨

  • You’re responsible for bringing in new business, building and growing your own portfolio of clients through closing small and medium businesses' (start-ups, scale-ups and traditional small medium businesses, which we define as companies with less than 2000 employees) in Germany
  • Manage a portfolio of key client accounts, focusing on account growth and retention along the Malty Way Methods and StagesQualify inbound leads by assessing their needs, determining fit, and recommending appropriate next steps
  • Drive deeper client relationships by understanding their business needs and positioning yourself as a trusted advisor
  • Conduct engaging and persuasive demo calls to introduce our products and services, both remotely and onsite, to explore new opportunities and enhance relationships
  • Build relationships with executives at all levels and in all industries including participation on events and in onsite client meetings across Germany
  • Achieve your targets by prospecting, managing accounts, and closing deals within your assigned client base and outbound prospects that will allow you to continue to expand your portfolio
  • Ensure the conversion of leads into projects and work in collaboration with the Project Partnering team on client briefs and follow-ups
  • Support clients in their search to help them connect to our best freelance profiles

    • About you 🧑‍🚀

  • You have previous sales experience ideally in SaaS platform/marketplace
  • Fluent-level in German and fluent English speaker
  • You are able to demonstrate methodology to prospect and build pipeline on your ownYou see yourself as a “hunter” and enjoy developing creative prospecting strategies.
  • Your curiosity and your ability to establish and formalize the short, medium and long term needs of your customers will be a real plus
  • Desire to integrate a fast-paced, intellectually stimulating, caring and demanding work environmentKnowledge of the tech industry (languages and frameworks) is a real asset but not required
