The team :

You will be part of the Finance Team and will report to the CFO. The position is based in Paris.

Your missions/What you’ll do ?

As a Business Analyst, your first mission will to become owner of the Business Plan of the Company.

The Business Plan aims at forecasting 10 years forward the financials of Murex to allow the company to better anticipate, to fix long term objectives & to give visibility to various stakeholders including the Board and the Executive Committee.

In your day to day you will work with the CFO, the FP&A Head, the FP&A and finance Teams, and with anybody monitoring useful information within CS, PDD or Corporate divisions

• Understanding of the current Business Plan model, not only in terms of modeling but as well in terms of business assumptions, historical data used in the model, drivers

• Appropriation of the model, in order to be able to change inputs or assumptions independently

• Strengthening of the model: document it, correct it if necessary, clean it, clarify it

• Strengthening of the inputs if necessary, to make sure we have the most accurate historical data

• Continuous improvement and completion of the model:

  • Better modeling of revenues, costs

  • Detailing or Adding offers, segments, regions, activities…

• Preparation of presentation for various audiences. A first official Business Plan will be published in December 2025 and annually afterwards. However, many intermediary versions can be shared with management.

• On top of this core task, you will support the CFO in leading ad hoc analysis or projects.

Your profile/Who you are ?

• At least 2 years of experience, ideally with a significant part within Murex. The current position can be unrelated to Finance (developer, support, commercial…) – what is important is a successful track record and a willingness to learn new areas within Finance & Murex.

• Engineering/University/Business school Master Degree

• Loving numbers: while a finance expertise is a plus, it is not a prerequisite for the job. It is more important to appreciate modelling, analyzing, summarizing, understanding

• Highly analytical ; high level vision with apposite attention to detail and advanced in Excel

• Ability to quickly understand reporting frameworks and tools, in order to retrieve data independently

• Very strong business acumen

• Excellent spoken and written English

• Excellent communication, to be able to look for information anywhere in the company – at any level

• Self-starter with ability to work autonomously and to take initiatives, proactive attitude toward change and problems

• Hands On, dynamism, creativity, curiosity, eagerness to learn
