Role Overview
The Senior Business Analyst will play a pivotal role in the implementation and enhancement of (i) NeoXam’s Tracker software solution, a leading asset management and trading platform and (ii) NeoXam’s Density solution, a leading front-to-back office asset management solution, including order management, portfolio management, compliance, accounting, and liability management. The individual will collaborate with product teams, technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure the effective design, integration, and delivery of solutions that align with the clients’ needs and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and quality assurance teams to ensure successful
delivery of software features.
• Engage with clients to gather feedback, perform gap analysis, and recommend improvements.
• Support the customization, integration, and testing of the software according to customer needs.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including user stories, process flows, and use cases.
• Provide training and mentorship to junior business analysts/consultants and assist with their professional
development.
• Ensure adherence to project timelines and contribute to the overall project success.
• Proactively identify risks and issues related to business requirements and work towards mitigation.
• Conduct functional testing and support the user acceptance testing (UAT) process.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, financial regulations, and software innovations.
Qualifications & Skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
• At least 10 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a strong focus on financial software solutions.
• Solid understanding of financial markets, investment products, and trading operations.
• Experience with data modeling, business process reengineering, and financial data analysis.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements in the financial industry (e.g. MiFID II, Basel III …).
• Experience with NeoXam Tracker/Density or similar asset management/trading software.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to define complex business requirements and translate them into actionable solutions.
• Proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and manage client expectations.
• Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) and the ability (i) to present complex information in a clear and concise manner, (ii) to present to senior stakeholders (CxO level).
• Proficiency in tools such as Jira, Confluence, and MS Office Suite.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile environments is preferred.
• Languages: Fluency in French and English is required; proficiency in other languages is a plus.
