Financial Planning & Analysis Specialist (FP&A)

Reporting to the Western Europe FP&A Manager, you will be responsible for driving business performance through accurate, reliable and insightful financial reporting and analysis to aid commercial decision making. FP&A team ensures high data-quality historically as well as forward-looking data, focusing on precise reporting and forecasting across the business. While overseeing the Western Europe Cluster (France, Spain & Portugal), you will have a special focus on the Spanish and Portuguese markets, acting as their point of contact for FP&A related specifics.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Key accountabilities for the FP&A specialist will be to support the reporting and planning agenda for the cluster, driving efficiencies and leveraging new capabilities, business partnering activities and core finance routines, including month end, forecasting and annual budgeting.
Reporting:
- Routinely produce quality and timely commercial reporting whilst liaising with the Global BI team where necessary to ensure data integrity.
- Ensure proper analysis for month-end closing process.
- Ensure reports are gradually developed to meet demands of the business.
- Proactively seek other opportunities across the business to leverage data analytics and automate and streamline reporting to drive efficiencies.
- Support in the preparation of business performance review presentation.
Forecasting:
- Support in the preparation and submission of the rolling 13-weeks sales forecast to Global Finance.
- Assist and support the wider finance team in quarterly reforecasting and annual budget processes to assess overall P&L performance vs plan/prior years including commentary and variance analysis.
- Analysis and forecast of gross margin.
- Support in the preparation of budget and reforecasting presentations to be shared to the leadership team.
- Proactively seek opportunities to continuously improve and streamline the planning process.
Ownership:
- Be the day-to-day point of contact for the Spanish and Portuguese markets within Western Europe
- Ensure that processes are managed for Spain and Portugal in line with guidance
- Jointly be responsible for tasks on a Western Europe Cluster level with FP&A Manager

Profile description:
- 3–5 years’ experience in FP&A role
- Masters in Finance, Business etc. or equivalent
- Fluent Spanish and English are obligatory
- Experience in a matrix environment
- Experience from retail, fashion or FMCG industry is a plus
- Experience with EPM tools and strong knowledge of MS Office
- Experience working on HFM (Hyperion Financial Management)
- Experience with Power BI is a plus
