As a Head of Data, you will lead the company’s data strategy, oversee the entire data function, and drive the development of data-driven solutions that align with business objectives. You will be responsible for building and managing a high-performing data team while ensuring the efficient execution of data projects across the organization.

We are looking for a person for a short-term contract (from January to end of June 2025) to replace a temporary leave of absence.


Your responsibilities : 

  • Develop a clear vision for data utilization that aligns with the business goals and create a roadmap for implementing data initiatives across the organization.
  • Lead, and mentor a diverse team of 20 data analysts. Ensure continuous development and career growth within the team.
  • Coordinate the planning, execution, and delivery of data projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Implement and maintain data governance policies, focusing on data quality, security, and compliance (e.g., GDPR, industry standards).
  • Partner with key business functions (e.g., Marketing, Finance, Product, Operations) to identify data needs and deliver actionable insights that enhance decision-making.
  • Oversee the architecture of data platforms (data warehouses, data lakes, ETL processes), ensure system reliability, and recommend upgrades or new technologies as needed.
  • Lead the creation of dashboards and reports to provide stakeholders with clear, actionable insights, and facilitate data-driven strategies.
  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the success of data initiatives, assess their impact on the business, and refine the data strategy accordingly.
  • At least 6 years of experience in data management roles, with proven expertise in team leadership.
  • Strong proficiency in data analytics tools (Python, SQL), cloud platforms (AWS, GCP), and BigQuery.
  • Demonstrated capability to lead and inspire a team, with strong cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Excellent ability to communicate complex concepts in a simplified manner and influence executive decision-making.
  • You speak English fluently and French as a second language is a big plus.
