The position

Job description

As a Product Designer, you will work with the Qomon Product Team, composed of over 18 people (Engineers, Data Scientists, Mobile Developers, Web Developers, Product Operations, and UX/UI Designers) divided into cross-functional squads, all with the same goal: to transform how nonprofit professionals and their supporter communities take action daily, both online and in the field.

We are seeking two Product Designers, one for each vertical of the product:

  • Mobile and Action, to deliver a lifestyle B2C experience for volunteers

  • CRM & Data, capable of working on complex interfaces and simplifying them

This job description is for the Mobile & Action vertical.

As a Product Designer, you will have the opportunity to make a concrete impact on Qomon’s product and for our clients. We are looking for Product Designers who are true product enthusiasts, can lead squads, take ownership, and drive the conception-to-delivery process in their product vertical.

This role is key in our organization, as at Qomon, product sits at the center of everything, and our goal is to build a legendary product for the industry!

YOUR MISSIONS

  • Identify new product improvements and development ideas in your vertical and execute their conception.

  • Be in charge of conception and delivery within the Action and Mobile App vertical

  • Deliver product design ideas and manage the conception roadmap.

  • Act as the owner and go-to person for your vertical, ensuring a great experience and feature relevance for our users. / Own the product vision for your vertical: develop and articulate a compelling vision that aligns with our overall business objectives.

  • Modify and revise existing designs to meet Qomon’s Northstars Goal.

  • Analyze how features satisfy market needs and help us achieve Qomon’s North Star goals.

  • Stay up to date on current industry trends and market conditions.

  • Work closely with product operations to suggest process improvements.

  • Drive innovation: foster a culture of innovation by exploring new ideas and challenging the status quo within the team.

  • Collaborate closely with our UI/UX designer, Product Operations, Customer Success Management (CSM), Sales for customer feedback, and the entire development team.

  • Current toolset: ClickUp, Figma Slack, Discord, Customer.io, Vitally, Intercom


Preferred experience

REQUIRED

  • Passion for Product, Digital and Technology

  • Proven experience in all phases of the design process including user research, copywriting, wireframing, prototyping, visual design, interaction design, and usability testing

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional team members and demontrate drive & leadership

  • Ability to effectively communicate and persuade around design concepts

  • Passion for design; not satisfied with the status quo and always thinking of ways to improve

  • Creative problem-solving skills

  • Dynamic, creative personality, effective at engaging and influencing a variety of audiences

  • Provide assistance to product developers when needed

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment.

  • English is important

  • Self-starter attitude and the ability to execute new ideas with autonomy.

    NICE TO HAVE

  • Product Designer experience in a B2B / Complex interface environement is a +

  • Experience with nonprofits or politics a plus

Recruitment process

2️⃣ A longer interview to delve into the details of the position and address any questions (either via video call or in-person) with Jean-Baptiste & Florent (CTO & CEO)

  • A demo of our product and the opportunity to interact with another team member who is not involved in the recruitment process, and if you visit the office, a coffee with your potential coworkers.

3️⃣ A Use Case Interview and meeting with the rest of the product team
