SUMMARY:

Our first team was created in 2012 and we are part of Rakuten's global technology organisation (https://developers.rakuten.com/about/technology), which has over 6,000 colleagues worldwide.
We work on the development, delivery and operations of software components and systems covering a variety of domains, including e-commerce, big data, data science, blockchain, business intelligence, information security, user identity management, enterprise computing and data centres and infrastructure.
What makes us global is that we work closely on a daily basis with our colleagues at Rakuten Group headquarters in Japan and around the world, and that the software we build is used by Rakuten Group companies around the world.
Our team of over 130 members is based in all the main Rakuten Group offices in Europe, in countries such as France, the UK, Germany and Spain.
As part of the development of the tech division in Europe, we are looking for an People Operations Support to fill a new position.
You will join the HR team, reporting to the Regional HR Director for the tech division in Europe, as part of a team of 2 HRBPs.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES :
As a People Operations Support, you will have the opportunity to work on the various stages of employees' lifecycle in the organisation/ on our day-to-day HR activities and programmes, in support of People Operations Leader/HRBPs.
France level (legal entity of 59 employees)
- HR operational support for the People Operations leader
- Administration and payroll management under the operational responsibility of the People Operations leader
o Employee administration: from onboarding to offboarding, management of administrative tasks relating to employees (administrative registrations, contracts, amendments, certificates, monitoring of visas, insurance files, medical visits, offboarding process, etc.).
o Helping to carry out tasks to ensure compliance with legal HR obligations such as mandatory posting, mandatory training, DUERP, calculation of the gender equality index, with the assistance of the People Operations Leader.
o Contribute to the preparation of payroll variables (absences, luncheon vouchers, on-call duty, overtime, transport, etc.).
- Setting up HR processes/policies
o Contribute operationally to the implementation and/or improvement of HR processes and policies relating to working time, working conditions (on-call duty, working hours, leaves, etc.).
- Tracking social indicators (regular monitoring of headcount and trends such as absenteeism, teleworking, seniority, turnover, etc.)
Europe level
Across the whole European organisation...
- You will manage all HR KPIs, to support decision-making. You may be involved in all HR topics to bring your analytical skills and help improve processes.
- You will be the key contact for all CSR (RSE) activities, working with the team to design a policy in line with the challenges facing our sector:
o Leading proposals on environmental issues in the digital sector (with the support of the tech teams)
o In charge of implementing, promoting and monitoring well-being activities, liaising directly with the Office Manager in France and with other well-being representatives in Europe to propose joint actions
o Provide input on diversity and inclusion issues (disability, feminisation of digital professions, etc.) and on benefits related to our market.
- You will be in charge of HR communications to promote our policies and benefits (organising and maintaining communication materials for managers and employees).
- Finally, you will be involved in recruitment activities, in collaboration with our recruiter: promoting our open job positions internally and externally, reviewing and promoting the European referral policy, producing KPIs and market analyses, liaising with employer branding activities, participating in the development of school relations, etc.

The People Operations Support will be required to work closely with the tech division's European HR team, as well as with the international HR team and the HR teams in Japan, on the various HR projects for which he or she will be responsible on behalf of the tech division.
REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS
· 2 to 4 years' successful experience in an HR admin position in international environments and in the tech sector
· Knowledge of French employment law and HR adminisation
· Knowledge of payroll variables
· Strong capacity for data analysis
· Understanding of recruitment challenges in the tech sector
· Understanding of CSR challenges in the tech sector
· Expertise in Excel and Powerpoint
· Preferred : Experience with Workday
· You are fluent in French and English
· You are a real communicator, both orally and in writing, and you know how to adapt to different people and situations
· A strong sense of initiative and a positive attitude are required
