At Schneider Electric, the Conformity Assessment, Cybersecurity, and Offer Safety team covers product ranges for variable speed activities and Control & Signaling. This team, composed of international experts, operates on a global scale.Your Role:Reporting to the Conformity Director (Mathieu), you will lead the compliance assessment of products in the "Control" range. You will work with various internal functions as well as national and international certification organizations. Within the R&D department in Angoulême (France), you will ensure the compliance of the offer and market access.Your Missions:

  • Schedule, monitor, and execute compliance assessment activities (including coordinating certification engineers)
  • Consult with Marketing for international or sectoral market access (voluntary compliance assessment)
  • Collaborate with Advisors on how to ensure the compliance of the offer
  • Evaluate the compliance of our offer according to standards or other legal requirements
  • Coordinate certification organizations
  • Define compliance requirements and alignments with suppliers
  • Manage alerts (e.g., changes in legal requirements)
  • Contribute to the standard evolution by being a member of Standardiztation Comitee
Your Profile:
  • Master's degree in mechanical engineering
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in the industrial products field with expertise in assessment activities
Your Skills:
  • Mastery of the interpretation and application of standards
  • Appreciated knowledge of the IEC 60947 series
  • Proficiency in product compliance assessment for international markets
  • Application of European Directives
  • Basic knowledge of international marketing
  • Rigor, organization, impartiality
  • Diplomacy and pedagogical skills
  • Fluent in English
