You will join the Innovation & Technology organization at Schneider Electric, specifically the F-Lab laboratory teams. This organization consists of two platforms: F-Lab Volta and F-Lab Amplitude, located in the metropolitan area of Grenoble. It is also connected to several Schneider laboratories worldwide (United States, China, Spain, India, Germany) as part of the One Labs network.With over 13,000 square meters and 120 employees, F-Lab offers a comprehensive range of low voltage (LV) and medium voltage (MV) tests throughout the product and system lifecycle. F-Lab is accredited according to the IEC/ISO 17025 standard, ensuring its expertise and impartiality through its quality management system.Discover this unique laboratory in a video !Schneider Electric F-Lab Volta & Amplitude Laboratory | Schneider ElectricYour role: Reporting to Stéphanie, F-Lab's director, you will join the laboratory's team of experts in the role of Testing Expert, covering normative and functional power tests. You are a key player in the laboratory due to your technical expertise, and you contribute to shaping the lab's future !Your Missions:

  • Provide all necessary technical support for specific tests or specific technical developments of test and measurement equipment.
  • Develop new test techniques (methodologies, standards, procedures) or new test equipment to ensure the continuity and sustainability of laboratory activities and meet the needs of internal and external projects and clients.
  • Participate in technical working groups at the local and global levels (STL, Eurolab, etc.) internally at Schneider Electric and externally.
  • Develop the skills of laboratory personnel in standards and test methods (by organizing occasional training sessions, Masterclasses, etc.).
  • Represent Schneider Electric in various standardization committees (IEC, AFNOR) in connection with the SE standardization team.
  • Contribute to maintaining the laboratory's quality by ensuring compliance with technical requirements according to ISO/IEC 17025:2017 and participating in internal and external technical audits
Your Profile:
  • Graduate with a Master's degree in electrical engineering or holder of a PhD in the field.
  • Significant experience in the field of power electrical testing and functional testing, particularly in the medium voltage domain
Your Skills:
  • Fluent English (C1 level) and in French (C1 level)
  • Mastery of the testing domain, measurement of physical quantities, measurement uncertainties, and test result analysis, particularly according to IEC 62271 standards
  • Experience with transient electrical simulation tools (Pspice, Psim, ATPDraw, or similar).
  • Ability to influence and interact with different teams within the organization
  • Strong critical and analytical thinking
