This lab is connected to several Schneider laboratories worldwide (United States, China, Spain, India, Germany) as part of the One Labs network.With over 13,000 square meters and 120 employees, F-Lab offers a comprehensive range of low voltage (LV) and medium voltage (MV) testing throughout the product and system lifecycle. Schneider Electric F-Lab Volta & Amplitude Laboratory | Schneider ElectricYour role : The laboratories are a big data provider within Schneider Electric. To continue and strengthen the digitalization journey of the laboratories and the associated added value, you will be responsible for accelerating digital transformation to make data a real lever of efficiency in support of business lines and also for the internal organization itself (predictability, machine learning, automation). This includes analyzing the multi-physical data generated and selecting dedicated technologies and algorithms. Our primary requirement is to provide contextualized datasets and analyses related to our requesters (LoB, AI Hub, GSC…) with the right level of traceability and confidentiality.You will report to Nicolas, the manager of the Digital Cluster team, and strong collaboration with the teams conducting tests, project teams, and simulation experts will be necessary to ensure that the added value captured in the data is utilized effectively.Your missions: In close collaboration with the data engineer/data steward already present in the team, your missions will focus on data analysis aspects.

  • Analyze data from electrotechnical tests to identify trends, correlations, and significant insights across multiple product ranges (mainly Power Product and Home & Distribution).
  • Collaborate with subject matter expert teams and designers to interpret test results and recommend improvements, complementing the conclusions of the Product Test Leader.
  • Participate in the innovation of new products by proposing additional data captures on existing campaigns so that the laboratory can be a source of proposals for the squads.
  • Develop predictive models, in collaboration with the Digital Twin teams, to anticipate the performance of equipment under test during the longest endurance tests to improve test reliability and anticipate performance.
  • Influence governance by working closely with the data engineer/data steward of the team.
  • Liaise with Schneider Digital & AI Hub to maintain the consistency of development and associated tools as well as scaling.
This position, although based in France, in Grenoble (Eybens), will be highly connected with all similar initiatives in India, China, Spain, the United States, and Mexico through a network of skills. This is to foster exchanges between hubs, share project retrospectives, and streamline useful tools or libraries. Travel will be occasional.Your profile :
  • Master's or PhD in data processing.
  • At least 3 years of experience in signal processing, image analysis, and Artificial Intelligence activities.
Your skills :
  • Knowledge of Python, R, and Matlab for data manipulation.
  • Ability to work in matrix teams with various types of stakeholders (scrum master, subject matter experts, external suppliers…).
  • A good level of spoken and written English.
  • Good writing skills (presentations, CIR files, code documentation, and analyses developed).
  • Good interpersonal skills, rigor, synthesis spirit, and tenacity.
  • A passion for customer satisfaction.
