Job description

Primary functionThis position is within the Digital Power line of business, which is part of the Energy Management business. Digital Power leads the Digitalization and Decarbonization of electrical distribution with offers in Software, Power Monitoring, Power Quality Correction, Protective Relays and Distribution Automation.Digital Power Chapter operates 3 hubs (France, USA, India), the Strategic Marketing Intern will be based in Rueil-Malmaison, France, which is also the location of Schneider Electric's headquarters. He/she will join the Strategy and Marketing chapter of Digital Power and will participate in part of key strategic marketing processes across Line of Business (LoB).Main responsibilitiesStrategic marketing intern will support key strategic marketing activities at LoB level, working on 2 different pillars, with evolving weight / focus depending on priorities.

  • Marketing & Competitive intelligence
  • Assist in developing market capabilities to track the evolution of the Digital Power market and monitor the competitive landscape, providing valuable market insights.You will need to coordinate with both external and internal stakeholders to cover key topics, including:
    • In-depth competitor analysis.
    • Market dynamics: Collect, analyze, and synthesize all relevant information (macroeconomic, market, technique, field information …).
    • Sharing competitor newsletters to internal stakeholders in collaboration with external digital monitoring providers.
  • Contribution to DP Market studies
    • Assist in conducting ongoing or ad-hoc market studies by providing detailed analysis, with topics based on LoB needs.
    • Support the preparation of deck to communicate findings.
    Qualifications
    • Master's degree/MBA student from engineering or business school or equivalent in relevant field.
    • Fluency in English, French or other language is a plus.
    • High Interest in Strategic marketing, Electrification and Digitalization.
    • Proficient in PowerPoint and Excel to create clear, concise, and informative reports.
    • Great verbal and written communication, business analysis ability to prepare impactful presentations.
    • Good interpersonal skills:
  • Collaborative team player who is comfortable to working across diverse geographies & cultures.
  • Strong willingness to learn.
    • Would be value added if has : Experience in energy /electrical/industry services or Functional experience in (strategic) marketing / consulting.
