Within Energy Management - Innovation & Technology Organization, our electronic design expert team within CTO Europe, is made up of highly skilled and experienced professionals in the fields of electronic engineering, printed circuit board design, system modeling, and component technology. These experts possess a strong understanding of electronic design principles, industry standards, and computer-aided design (CAD) tools. Their mission is to provide coaching and support to designers in all Line of Business (LoB) in order to conceive, prototype, and optimize electronic circuits and boards to meet specific technical specifications. They are also responsible for ensuring that the designs adhere to quality, reliability, and regulatory compliance standards.Your role : To be one of our EMC experts !Your main responsibilities :
- Collaborate with design engineers and installation teams to optimize product design and electrical installations, considering EMC constraints.
- Evaluate the EMC performance at the system level, ensuring all components and installations work together harmoniously.
- Visit customer sites to perform tests, measurements, and investigations for the EMC robustness of their installations.
- Document EMC analyses, testing, and solutions, including recommendations for installation practices to enhance overall system EMC compliance.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest EMC standards and regulations applicable to customer electrical installations.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of EMC design processes, particularly regarding system-level considerations.
- Integrate EMC principles into the early stages of the design process (Agile or Waterfall).
- Conduct preliminary and detailed EMC analyses to identify potential issues through architecture review and simulation.
- Propose and implement technical solutions to mitigate immunity and radiated EMC issues.
- Perform EMC testing and analyze results to verify compliance with standards and simulation models.
- Communicate and share experiences with the design and installation community to promote best practices in EMC.
Your profile :- Engineering degree in electronics or a related field, eventually electrotechnology
- + 5 years of experience in electronic and/or electrical installation with EMC design
- Experience in evaluating EMC at both the system and installation levels
Your skills :- In-depth knowledge of applicable EMC standards and regulations
- Proficiency in EMC simulation and testing tools
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
