About Quartz Design SystemQuartz is an ecosystem that translates Schneider Electric digital standards into ready-to-use assets shared by designers and developers with transparency, efficiency and consistency.Your role :As a UX Writer within our Core Design System Team, you will play a pivotal role in creating, maintaining, and enhancing documentation that guides our designers and developers in effectively using our design system. You will ensure that our documentation is clear, engaging, and accessible, facilitating seamless adoption and usage across various teams. Your work will contribute significantly to the overall user experience of our digital products.Your missions :Content Development
- Creating, updating, and managing comprehensive and engaging documentation for our design system, including guidelines, tutorials, and best practices.
- Writing and editing UI text, microcopy, and other interface content to ensure consistency and clarity.
- Developing clear, concise, and user-friendly content that helps designers and developers understand and utilize design system components.
Collaboration- Working closely with designers, developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to gather information and ensure documentation aligns with user needs and product requirements.
- Collaborating with the design system team to understand new components and updates, ensuring documentation is always current.
User Guidance:- Creating onboarding materials, FAQs, and other resources to help new users quickly understand and adopt the design system.
- Providing clear and actionable guidelines for integrating the design system into various projects and products.
Content Strategy:- Developing and maintaining a content strategy for the design system documentation, ensuring it evolves with the product and meets the needs of the users.
- Implementing feedback mechanisms to continuously improve the documentation based on user feedback and analytics.
Quality Assurance:- Ensuring all documentation is free of errors, adheres to the company's style guide, and maintains a high standard of quality.
- Conducting regular audits of existing documentation to identify areas for improvement and ensure consistency across all materials.
Your profile :- Bachelor's degree in English, Technical Writing, Communications, Design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- + 2 years of experience as a UX Writer, Technical Writer, or in a similar role within a technology or design environment.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong understanding of UX principles and the ability to explain complex concepts in a simple and engaging manner.
- Familiar with design and development processes, tools, and methodologies.
- Proficient in using documentation tools and platforms, such as Confluence, Notion, or similar.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills and can work independently while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Creative thinker with a passion for making complex information accessible and engaging.
Even Better:- Experience writing documentation for design systems or similar products.
- Conducting user research and usability testing to inform content decisions and ensure content meets user needs and expectations.
- Familiar with static website code updates (Visual Studio Code)
- Developing and maintaining content style guides and standards to ensure consistency and quality across all digital touchpoints.
- Staying up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in UX writing and content design, and sharing knowledge and insights with the broader team.
