Job description

We are looking for a versatile Product Marketing Manager to help us elevate our product launches, support our positioning efforts, and ensure our sales teams are fully equipped to take our products to market successfully.

If you’re a self-starter with a passion for both strategy and execution, this role is for you.

About the Role:

This is a newly created role, and as such, the scope will evolve and be further defined as you bring your experience and insights to the company. We are looking for someone who can adapt and grow with the position, contributing to both the strategic and operational needs of our Go-to-Market efforts.

The position is based in Paris and you will report directly to the Head of Product.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Go-to-Market Strategy: Own and coordinate the entire GTM process, ensuring alignment between product, sales, and marketing teams for seamless product launches.

  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Work closely with product, marketing, customer solutions, and sales teams to ensure everyone is aligned and prepared for successful product rollouts.

  • Sales Enablement: Create high-quality sales collateral, including product decks, one-pagers, and case studies, to ensure the sales team has everything they need to effectively sell our solutions.

  • Competitive Analysis: Stay on top of industry trends and competitor offerings, providing actionable insights to refine product positioning and strategy.

  • Product Positioning and Messaging Support: Collaborate with the marketing team to support the development of compelling product positioning and messaging that resonates with customers and differentiates SkillCorner in the market.

  • Partner Relationship Management: The role may include managing relationships with key partners, ensuring collaboration on initiatives that align with SkillCorner’s strategic goals.

Who You Are:

  • Strategic & Hands-On
You have experience defining GTM strategies and processes, yet you’re equally comfortable rolling up your sleeves to build marketing materials. You thrive in fast-paced environments where you drive product launches from high-level planning to on-the-ground execution.

  • Supportive Collaborator
You enjoy working across teams and supporting diverse stakeholders. You’re quick to help marketing and other functions develop effective product messaging and impactful campaigns.

  • Storyteller
You know how to craft compelling narratives that captivate customers and differentiate products in a crowded market.

  • Tech-Savvy with Sales Insight
You’ve worked with sales teams—particularly in a tech context—and leverage that experience to create targeted, persuasive sales collateral.

  • Process-Oriented Builder
You bring clarity to ambiguity by designing simple, effective GTM processes and ensuring everyone follows them. You see structure as an enabler of creativity and consistency.

Preferred experience

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of product marketing experience in a B2B tech environment focused on a specialized or niche market, where digital marketing alone isn’t enough and deep sales enablement is crucial.

  • Proven track record in creating effective sales and marketing collateral (e.g., decks, one-pagers).

  • Strong project management skills to coordinate and execute go-to-market efforts across diverse teams.

  • Familiarity with competitive analysis to shape and refine product positioning.

  • Fluency in English (both written and spoken).

  • Proficiency in presentation software (Google Slides, PowerPoint, etc.).

Nice to have:

  • Prior experience in a company that sold data or in the Sports industry.

  • An interest and knowledge of team sports - in particular analysis and coaching.

  • Additional languages such as French, Spanish, Italian, or German being a strong advantage.

Recruitment process

The following process is indicative:

  • Screening call (20 min): to make sure we don’t waste your time

  • Case Study to do at home.

  • Videocall / In person meeting (90 min): Case study presentation + Behavioural and Skills Assessment
