Responsibilities

Société Générale Stockholm Branch was established in late 2017 offering Global Banking and Investor Solutions to a select customer base in the Nordic Region; Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden. The Branch has approx. 35 permanent staff including an SG Markets team that cover most product areas and client category, and a team of bankers covering corporates and institutions across the Nordic region. Lyxor is one of Europe's leading ETF providers and in Stockholm we market and sell close to 300 ETFs to professional investors in the Nordic region. The branch is located in central Stockholm. We have several nationalities at the office and English is our daily working language.

Mission:

Within the framework of GBIS strategy and together with its business partners, the Human Resources function aims at developing GBIS attractiveness as a responsible employer notably in terms of career opportunities, people development, compensation, diversity and a healthy and secure working environment. You will provide HR administrative support to the local HR Director involving contacts with internal and external stakeholders both locally, such as external contractors and suppliers and internationally, the head office in Paris, London HR specialist teams and Bucharest support functions.

Tasks and responsibilities:

  • Provide first line support for ad hoc routine employee enquiries
  • Update and manage all personnel files with accuracy and discretion
  • Manage local employee on- and offboarding; coordination of induction programmes, updating HR system, pension and benefits
  • Managing local VIE onboarding and exit; personal id number, tax and benefits, temporary accommodation, launching corporate flat searches with external supplier
  • Assisting in mobility staff matters
  • Assisting in recruitment processes, liaising with the recruitment support in Bucharest (job@sg, Careers web and LinkedIn), posting adds on other external job board or universities. Supporting local managers in the recruitment process, fair assessment matrix, interview notes
  • Supporting HR manager, ordering background and reference checks
  • Assisting updates of benefits, pension and insurance provider's external databases
  • Tracking status/changes of employment life cycle; contract, probationary periods, fixed term contracts, garden leave
  • Assisting monthly payroll administration, under the supervision of HR Manager, liaising with the payroll provider
  • Monitoring time reporting including absence & comp leave registration and approvals, providing support to employees and managers, being the point of contact for AGDA tool
  • Managing staff training budget, collecting training needs, sourcing training vendors and updating the training portal with all performed trainings, supporting staff and Managers with requests and information, monitoring and follow up of the training budget
  • Updating staff information in Staff Handbook and on Sharepoint staff portal
  • Organizing the annual HALU project in cooperation with health provider Feelgood
  • Support HR Director with collecting documentation for GPS controls
  • Participating in and contributing to local CSR & ESG initiatives
  • HR Employer branding, representing SG at University events and Recruitment Fairs
  • Updating the HR system, PSHR
  • Assisting in local HR Projects and Roadmaps
  • Support in the processing of any employee GDPR requests (GDPR mailbox)

Profile required

Studies & experience:
  • An HR or related qualification (Master minimum)
  • Previous HR experience required

Language skills:
  • Fluency in Swedish and English

Technical, operational & Soft skills:
  • Excellent PC and administration skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality on all matters
  • A positive "can do" attitude
