The position

Job description

Responsibilities

This role is within the Model Risk Governance Team of the Risk Management Division (RISQ). RISQ's main mission is to contribute to develop SG Group (the Group) business and returns through the implementation of an efficient risk management process. The VIE will work for a team (RISQ/MRM) in charge of model risk governance & ad-hoc requests for MRM Governance.
• Manage information in the MRM tool (1LOD and 2LOD requests) on daily basis
• Ensure data quality and reconciliation / consistency with the Group tools (MyActions and MyMRM)
• Assist the enhancement of the MRM tool (liaise with IT, follow up of Jira tickets, perform UAT, etc.)
• Assist with the production and automation of the monthly MRM metrics (enhancement of the Power BI dashboard etc.)
• Assist with the production of the MRM reportings
• Assist with the review of Validation Reports
• Assist with the execution and automation of Internal controls
• Assist with the annual certification campaign (completeness and accuracy of the model and tool inventory)
• Assist with various day to day tasks for the Governance Team

Profile required

Studies & experience:
• Graduate with a Master's degree from Business/Engineering School or University with a specialization in Finance/Economics

Language skills:
• Fluent in English (B2-C1)

Technical, operational & Soft skills:
• Proficient/Good command of MS Office
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Strong Analytical skills
• Strong Microsoft Office knowledge (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Web Development skills (API) is a plus
• Business Intelligence Tool such as Microsoft Power BI is a plus
• Knowledge of Financial Products & Banking Processes is a plus
• Effective interpersonal and organizational abilities
• Willingness to assist other team members when necessary

The VIE assignment in a nutshell

This VIE in Canada is to begin as soon as possible but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 24 months.

In case a visa is necessary, please make sure your passport is valid up to 6 months after the end of the VIE contract to not delay your departure.

The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France's eligibility criteria, opened to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space. For further information (including your financial indemnities), please see Mon VIE-VIA Business France.
