Responsibilities

We are looking for a V.I.E. to join the Marketing Department within SG Luxembourg. The department is composed of 2 teams: Client & Product. It counts 8 people in Luxembourg and reports globally to the Private Banking Offer Department locally and closely works with Sale Direction as well.

The V.I.E. will be associated to the Client Marketing, located among the front-office teams and will have many interactions with our sales force.

Main responsibilities will include:

  • promoting services and day-to-day banking especially on digital tools (e-banking, electronic signature, mass mailing tool), credit cards offer via brochures, presentations, videos, website, etc.
  • highly contributing to digital projects (digital acquisition, penetration rate increase)
  • promoting and monitoring customer satisfaction (survey, results, action plan and follow-up)
  • promoting referral, setting ambitions and monitoring
  • handling with customer communications: customer mailings and e-mailing
  • providing support for associated projects (design / deployment of tools)
  • managing customer documentation: brochures, introductory documents, power point presentation updates and customizations, etc. and closely working with our legal and compliance departments

Finally, he/she will play an active role in cross-functional and local marketing projects as required.

The added value of this V.I.E. mission is represented by:
  • gaining an insight into marketing activities in private banking in Luxembourg
  • having a better understanding of the challenges facing the marketing department in the financial sector
  • developing your interpersonal skills, teamwork and autonomy

Profile required

PLEASE NOTE that since this program is primarily an international development program, candidates cannot apply to a VIE assignment in their own country of citizenship.

Studies & experience:
• Graduate with a Master degree from Business/Engineering School or University with a specialization in Marketing and Economics
• A previous experience in in the banking sector would be appreciated

Language skills:
• Fluent in English (B2-C1)

Technical, operational & Soft skills:
• Proficient/Good command of MS Office
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Able to produce hard-hitting quantitative summaries
• capable of mastering large database using Excel
• Good sense of customer relations and service
• Rigorous and reliable
• Excellent pitching skills

The VIE assignment in a nutshell
This VIE in Luxembourg is to begin as soon as possible but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 12 months.
The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France's eligibility criteria, opened to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space. For further information (including your financial indemnities), please see Mon VIE-VIA Business France.
