Responsibilities

As part of our Fund Distribution Support service, we are developing a Global Distribution Hub activity to provide our clients, from Luxembourg, with a single point of contact to support the distribution of their funds in 25 countries.
This activity involves acting as an intermediary between fund managers on the one hand, and supervisory authorities and local agents on the other, in countries where fund managers wish to distribute their funds.
Due to the strong development of this new activity, we are looking for a VIE capable of supporting us in the tasks linked to this activity.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Fine-tune the new Centralized Facility Agent offering as part of the ongoing implementation of this offering
  • Take charge of the follow-up of existing clients for our Local Representative Agent activities, and the onboarding of new clients
  • Implement new processes within the Fund Distribution Support team
  • Regulatory watch: analyze the impact and changes following the transposition of the Cross-border Distribution of Funds Directive in the various European countries
  • Work in coordination with business experts to develop the new Centralized Facility Agent offer

Due to the VIE eligibility criteria a questionnaire will be provided. Please make sure to answer all the questions for an efficient analysis of your application.

Please note that for the missions outside the European countries, a VISA is necessary. Please make sure your passport is valid up to 6 months after the end of the VIE contract to not delay your departure. Otherwise, we strongly advise you to launch asap the renewal of your passport.

Profile required

PLEASE NOTE that since this program is primarily an international development program, candidates cannot apply to a VIE assignment in their own country of citizenship.

Studies & experience:
• Graduate with a Master degree from Business/Engineering School or University with a specialization in Law/International Trade/Finance or Economics
• A previous experience in Banking (investment funds) would be appreciated

Language skills:
• Fluent in English (B2-C1)

Technical, operational & Soft skills:
• Proficient/Good command of MS Office
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Strong listening and analytical skills
• Proactivity, spearheading of proposals

The VIE assignment in a nutshell
This VIE in Luxembourg is to begin as soon as possible but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 12 months. The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France's eligibility criteria, opened to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space.
