Responsibilities
SG CIB is the Corporate and Investment Banking arm of the Société Générale Group. Present in over 50 countries across Europe, the Americas and Asia. Global Banking and Advisory (GLBA) combines a recognized wholesale coverage with world-class product, financing, and advisory expertise within one team, enabling us to best support our clients.
Part of the FIG Coverage team within Global Banking & Advisory (GLBA) unit based in the Netherlands, you will be the responsible person for Client Due Diligence (CDD) and KYC documentation/information treatment for the team's clients, hence becoming the bridge & key contact point between clients/front-office on one side, and internal business (product) line teams and KYC teams/compliance departments on the other side while carrying-out various CDD and KYC tasks, that will notably include:
• Conduct periodic KYC reviews & onboardings for FIG clients located in the Netherlands
• Communicate effectively with bankers, business line product teams, KYC teams and clients to obtain the necessary documents
• Provide clarity on general questions and risks related to KYC
• Updating databases, Excel sheets, scanning and archiving documents, systems, suggesting improvements and reporting technical concerns
• Be able to work on specific projects that may emerge from the assignment
In addition, you will perform regular business and PnL/financial data performance monitoring, conduct budgeting exercises, and you will prepare regular PnL and financial data reporting.

Profile required
PLEASE NOTE that since this program is primarily an international development program, candidates cannot apply for a VIE assignment in their own country of citizenship.

Studies & experience:
• Graduate with a Master's degree from Business/Engineering School or University with a specialization in Law or Economics/Finance
• A previous experience in Banking would be appreciated
Language skills:
• Fluent in English (B2-C1)
Technical, operational & Soft skills:
• Proficient/Good command of MS Office
• Good communication, analytical, and presentation skills
The VIE assignment in a nutshell
This VIE in The Netherlands is to begin as soon as possible but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 12 months.
In case a visa is necessary, please make sure your passport is valid up to 6 months after the end of the VIE contract to not delay your departure.
