SG CIB is the Corporate and Investment Banking arm of the Société Générale Group. Present in over 50 countries across Europe, the Americas and Asia.SG CIB provides corporate, financial institutions, investors and public sector clients with value-added integrated financial solutions.
The e-Commerce Sales team in APAC, is responsible for electronic sales of Fixed Income and FX products. As electronic trading becomes the predominant execution method, the team plays an increasingly important role in servicing our diverse client base. The team has strong links with the IT, Trading and Sales Teams of the FIC business.

eSales assistant of the desk
• Taking care of daily production, troubleshooting
• Clients activity/tiering review for the FIC Asia Electronic activity
• Track key metrics monitoring customers usage of eFIC or product performance on various platforms
• Act as a backup of the team

Product and data manager, working together with the global team in Paris
• Develop a strong knowledge on the data ecosystem, for FX, rates and credit: blotters, reporting tools, data models and architecture, IT system
• Become a referent on our FIC electronic product offering, for the global business and for Asia specificities
• Work with Technology and Project managers to develop the capabilities of the platform
• Develop and improve client monitoring tools leading to actionable intelligence

Quantitative analysis of the electronic business
• Analyze large amounts of data using quantitative techniques to identify clients clustering and trading pattern
• Develop a culture of quantitative approach to the FIC electronic business in order to help industrialize the client activity

Profile required

PLEASE NOTE that since this program is primarily an international development program, candidates cannot apply to a VIE assignment in their own country of citizenship.

Studies & experience:
• Graduate with a Master's degree from a Business/Engineering School or University with a specialization in Finance, Financial Engineering, Computer Science or Mathematics
• Previous experience in investment banking, especially Fixed Income & Foreign Exchange would be appreciated

Language skills:
• Fluent English

Technical, operational & soft skills:
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Proficient/Good command of MS Office
• Good knowledge / understanding of dealing through electronic platforms
• Ability to work with several functional teams and multi-task in a high pressure and fast-paced environment
• Able to work under pressure and quick on the feet
• A team player that is self-motivated and has a positive attitude and able to work independently
• Coding skills with experience with languages such as Python, VBA, Java

The VIE assignment in a nutshell

This VIE in Singaporeis to begin as soon as possible, but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 24months.

In case a visa is necessary, please make sure your passport is valid up to 6 months after the end of the VIE contract to not delay your departure.
