Founded in 2013, Soil Capital is a B-Corp Belgian agronomy firm whose mission is to connect farmers & Agfood companies to build resilient & regenerative supply chains underpinned by high integrity certification programmes. Its purpose is to empower farmers by monetising the ecosystem services of their farms and connecting them with companies committed to redesigning our agricultural system. 

To achieve our mission we engage our farmers within our regenerative agriculture programme where they get rewarded for their climate improvements. We partner with local agricultural players to develop low carbon and resilient value chains. We help our corporate partners, primarily in the food and ag sector, transition their farmer suppliers to regenerative agriculture, thereby helping them improve their Scope 3 emissions while contributing positively to the environment and society.

As we expand our reach and impact, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Corporate Marketing Lead to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

Position Overview:

The Corporate Marketing Lead is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies that align with the company’s business objectives. This role involves managing the corporate marketing initiatives, coordinating with various departments, and utilizing a mix of marketing techniques to drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and increase lead generation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate marketing related to sustainability and the competence to translate market insights into effective marketing campaigns.

Strategic Planning:

  • Owner of the corporate marketing plans in link with the company’s business mission and in coordination with the corporate sales goals.

  • Develop and implement already identified marketing plans that support corporate marketing objectives and continue to enhance the corporate marketing strategy.

Brand Management:

  • Oversee the development and execution of branding initiatives to ensure consistency across all channels.

  • Support the development of the company’s brand identity, including visual and messaging standards.

Campaign Development:

  • Plan, execute, and manage multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital, print, social media, and events.

  • Create segmented marketing content to effectively reach and engage different corporate audiences.

  • Assisting in developing outbound campaigns to create and nurture sales opportunities.

  • Liaise and support the public relations team in communication initiatives.

  • Track and analyze campaign performance metrics to optimize effectiveness and ROI.

Relationship management:

  • Support and collaborate very closely with the Corporate Sales team on the whole sales cycle from prospecting to closing.

  • Develop good relationships with key stakeholders, including customers and partners.

  • Work closely with product and other Soil Capital teams to ensure marketing efforts support business objectives.

Event

  • Identify relevant events and help build our network.

  • Coordinate the organisation of the regular events and series of webinars.

Digital Marketing:

  • Oversee corporate digital marketing initiatives, including email marketing, social media, and online advertising.

  • Utilize data analytics to measure and improve digital marketing performance.

Leadership:

  • Lead corporate marketing efforts, fostering a collaborative culture with the corporate sales team.

Budget Management:

  • Oversee the corporate marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources.

  • Monitor expenses and provide regular reports on budget performance.

  • Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality and impact.


Preferred experience

Qualifications and Skills

  • Master degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. Candidates with a Bachelor’s degree with relevant experience can apply too.

  • Minimum of 3-year of experience in corporate marketing in relation with sustainability/SDG, with a proven track record of successful marketing leadership.

  • Experience and/or strong knowledge of the agricultural/AgFood sector in France and/or Belgium and/or UK.

  • Interest for the agro-ecological transition and nature-based solutions as a solution to fight climate change and restore degraded land ecosystems.

  • Proficiency in marketing tools and techniques.

  • Experience with digital marketing tools and platforms, including CRM software.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Creative and strategic thinker with strong problem-solving abilities.

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously - ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Curious and entrepreneurial spirit, eager to learn in a fast changing market and willing to scale the regenerative farming movement across Europe.
