As we expand, we are looking for a motivated and entrepreneurial Junior International Development Specialist to join our growing team. This role will work closely with Yannick, Head of International Development to drive the expansion of Soil Capital into new countries, with a focus on Europe and Latin America. The successful candidate will play a critical role in market research, project management, and stakeholder engagement, contributing directly to the growth of our impact globally.
Your role and responsibilities
Market Entry Coordination
Ensure a series of essential steps are completed to enable the launch of Soil Capital initiatives in new countries.
Collaborate on the design and execution of market entry plans.
Market Development Support
Monitor and address ongoing market development needs in target countries.
Provide regular updates and recommendations to support strategic decisions.
Market Research
Conduct detailed market studies to evaluate the potential of target countries, including Central/Eastern Europe and Latin America.
Analyse market development, regulatory environments, and competitive landscapes.
Event Representation
Attend industry events in focus countries to represent Soil Capital and build local relationships.
Share insights from events to inform strategy and execution.

Education and Experience
Master’s degree in Business, Agronomy Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
2-3 years of experience in project management, business development or a related role.
International experience and knowledge of the agricultural sector are highly valued.
Skills
Strong project management and analytical abilities.
Clear and effective communication skills with excellent reporting capabilities.
Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently.
Languages
Fluent in English (mandatory).
Professional proficiency in Spanish (highly valued).
Portuguese is a plus.
