The position

Job description

To support its ambitious development, Square Sense is looking to recruit a Data Asset Management Associate in its data asset management team. The role is client-facing and provides an opportunity to work on project management for client success, while also contributing with more analytical work. The position has a steep learning curve and will allow the candidate to develop a large variety of skills and experiences while working on multiple projects with our pan-European clients (including institutional investors, investment funds and operators).

Objectives

  1. Work with senior members of the team on managing client relationships and ensuring smooth client communication and efficient project management for the roll-out of ongoing initiatives

    • Prepare materials for client meetings and ensure follow-up

    • Take ownership of client-specific projects and processes, making sure Square Sense can comply with the complex needs of institutional investors

    • Take initiative to find solutions

  2. Analyse trends and behaviours of key real estate metrics on our platform to help generate valuable asset insights for our clients

    • Use data analytics to identify value-add opportunities in our clients’ portfolios

    • Communicate findings through high quality written and oral reports

    • Contribute to the design, specification and testing of product new features


Preferred experience

  • Education: A Master degree in an engineering or business school. Students in their final year are welcome to apply if they already have relevant experience .

  • Experience: A first real estate experience in a real estate consulting firm or project management team is preferred. Digital or smart building experience is a plus.

  • Knowledge: Thorough understanding of the real estate industry and key value drivers for office and residential assets.

  • Interest: Curiosity for technology and innovation

  • Your skills:

    • Strong oral and written communication skills

    • Strong project management skills

    • Team work habits

    • Fluent in English and French. German or Italian is a plus


Recruitment process

  • 45-min first interview with a Data Asset Manager

  • Case study, followed by a technical interview

  • Fit interview with two to three other members of the team
