The position

Job description

As a BDM, you will be reporting to a senior BDM leading TCS business development for CPG industry customers and your mission will be to develop this industry customers portfolio in order to acquire new customers and retain existing ones.

Working closely with the global Industry CPG Business Unit which gathers our global teams of Industry experts and Center of Excellence in India, as well as with our local teams in France, he/she will be responsible for:

Contribute to the elaboration and implementation of the sales strategy and sales action plans for this industry Clients.Build and Maintain loyalty and growth of the perimeter by establishing and developing trustful relationships with existing customers or prospects; as well as with the ecosystem of partners /advisors in France.Develop business with prospects and open new opportunities, working closely with TCS marketing and presales team, and supporting/participating to events. Participate / Lead in the response to calls for tenders across TCS portfolio services and commercial models, with responsibility to coordinate internal teams and to drive the financial and commercial proposition.Analyze the technical and business needs of customers in order to drive and challenge solution and presales teams to build the winning proposition.Build his/her external and internal network by relying on key stakeholders.Provide expected reporting on its activities to senior BDM and TCS organization.

In summary, you will be entrusted with a mix of existing or prospect accounts, all French global leaders in the CPG market that you will have to hunt /develop / grow. As such you will be one of the key pillar of TCS growth ambition in France, with opportunity to grow vertically as your portfolio grows, or horizontally across our large global organization.


Preferred experience

Min 5 years of experience in the sales of IT services or solutions within a medium to large French or Global IT organization, primarily for French customers from CPG industry Understanding of all or of some of the CPG sub-segment market and business (Alcohol &Beverages, Food & Agri-food, Hygiene & Personal Care, Beauty Care, Apparel & Footwear, Distribution, Consumer Electronics, Toys & Games).Hunter mindset with developed commercial fiber and ability to connect to the CPG business and IT ecosystem and customer stakeholders from Operational to CXO levels, and ability to identify/create potential deals, take appointments, map client accountsBroad technological culture/appetite: Application solutions, Infrastructure, Cloud… with ability to understand and challenge clients’ technical topicsFlexible mindset, at ease with navigation across large complex organization (TCS and customers), experience working with offshore teams / solutions/ services being a clear plus.Autonomous, leader mindset, out-of-the box thinking, ability to demonstrate strategic high-level thinking while still being able to deep dive in the very detail to manage internal teams as well as customer conversations.At ease and efficient in hands-on activities.Interested in both hard working and having fun !Fluent English and French
