As part of the VELUX Region Southwest of Europe team, you will play a crucial role in identifying, evaluating, and providing insights to assist the business understand the market landscape, competition, and business potential, ultimately increasing regional growth.

As a Market Intelligence Analyst, you will be the go-to expert, delivering comprehensive analyses of market trends, competitor strategies, and customer behavior to empower business stakeholders. Your passion for your craft and creative mindset will shine as you combine multiple data sources, conduct market research, and utilize graphics and data visualization to present findings effectively.

Your Challenges:

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive market data, competitor information, and industry insights to provide stakeholders with a clear understanding of market dynamics and derive actionable business implications

  • Stay current with the latest market research trends, tools, and technologies, and recommend their integration to enhance research capabilities.

  • Understand business strategies and collaborate with external vendors to customize research design methodologies, ensuring insightful and actionable regional recommendations.

  • Foster high collaboration with HQ and local teams in building market intelligence by synthesizing conclusions into recommendations, organizing activation workshops, and identifying information gaps.

You need to be based in Paris or Ile-de-France, however you can expect to travel approximately 30 days annually – both nationally and internationally.

Preferred experience

What do we expect from you:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Statistics, Economics, social science, market research or a related field. A master’s degree or relevant certifications can be an asset .

At least 3 to 4 years of proven experience in market research, data analysis, from client or customer side. Preferably within the industry.

Fluent in English, both written and spoken, is essential. Additional language such as French, Italian, Spanish, Dutch or Portuguese is advantageous

Expert written and verbal communication skills to present findings clearly and effectively to stakeholders.

Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, SPSS, PowerBi) and familiarity with market research methodologies.

Strong analytical skills and ability to translate complex data into digestible insights for the business.
