Your challenges
As part of the VELUX Southwest Europe team, you will become a part of developing and executing the regional PR strategy to increase the relevancy and desire for daylight and fresh air through the roof by focusing on creating relevant partnerships and to implement actions with the other parts of the department. You will be part of a diverse team where you will engage and collaborate across all stakeholders.
Your primary tasks will involve:
Planning, developing and implementing PR strategies towards existing partners
Managing enquiries from media, individuals and other organisations
Researching, writing, and distributing press releases to targeted media related to your projects
Planning publicity strategies and campaigns
Organising events including press conferences, exhibitions, open days and press tours with dedicated partners
Find relevant projects (houses and interiors) and organize video and photo shooting mixing partners projects
Distribute content to relevant media outlets.
Liaise with local/regional/global PR agencies.
Crisis Communication / Management.
Raise local partnerships to regional level
Work closely with global team to ensure the success of the projects
Major focus :
Continue Partnerships from existing project
To highlight existing projects from different departments of the VELUX SOUTHWEST region
To create links between the different departments objectives and the Brand Communication Southwest Department
To enhance the existing national partnerships to a regional level when possible
To create a dedicated strategy for those ones and to create relevant projects
New Partnerships projects
To create a regional Partnerships/PR strategy
To develop relationships with stockholders
To organize local events in order to develop PR returns linked to Influence, SoMe & Core activations
To create adequate PR tools
To handle PR agencies if needed & content creation agencies
To develop Southwest Region portfolio partnerships
To adapt global projects

Being 3 days in Morangis is expected every 3 weeks for people who live abroad.
In fulfilling this role, you need to be proactive, reliable, responsible and accurate with an attention to detail. You possess excellent communication skills both orally and in writing, as well as great interpersonal skills. Additionally, you have good IT skills, presentations skills as well as willingness to take initiative.
Moreover, we expect you to have:
Minimum 5 years’ experience in PR within an industrial manufacturer.
A BSc/BA in Public Relations, Journalism, Communications or a related field.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
Are fluent in written and spoken English.
Contract of 10 months.
