Our story
Founded in 2016, Volta Medical is a French company born out of the collaboration between three cardiologists and a data scientist from the French engineering school Polytechnique. Our aim is to develop cutting-edge, AI-based solutions to treat complex cardiac arrhythmias such as atrial fibrillation.
With over 70 million euros raised in total, Volta is expanding both in France and internationally, particularly in the United States. The company has a team of 20 people in the USA, who work in close collaboration with our teams in Marseille. This cultural blend enhances our creativity and cosmopolitan outlook.
