The position

Job description

We recruit a Senior Strategy & Insight manager. The position is located in our Headquarters in Aix-en-Provence.

Key responsibilities :

The role of Senior Strategy & Insight manager belongs to the Marketing Team and reports directly into the Global Brand and Communications Director. He/She is a strategic business partner for our marketing and business unit teams, providing consumer-led insights and strategic recommendations to drive brand growth, efficient communications and, to some extent, portfolio optimization. He/She is responsible for developing and executing consumer research projects (both externally and through internal/owned platform data), translating insights into actionable strategies, and influencing decision-making at various levels of the organization.

Your objectives will be to:

  • Develop and manage the consumer insights agenda, aligning with business objectives and identifying knowledge gaps, in particular:

    1. Brand:

    • Identity consumer insights (U&A…) and translate into concrete action plan to deliver new brand positioning, creative development and 360° campaign activation for 2025
    • Create and manage efficient tools to track Brand Health, campaign effectiveness (pre & post-test, sales impact) and e-reputation, ensuring they drive value to the business

    2. UX : recommend best approach to build relevant and quantified consumer segmentation in order to identify priority personae

3. Portfolio strategy : leverage local insight and provide recommendations on portfolio management to guide supply & sales in their offer strategy

  • Proactively identify & share market and consumer behaviour updates (eg consumer trends, market opportunities, competitive insights) translating findings into actionable implications
  • Champion the use of consumer insights within the organization, implementing effective working methods and tools
  • Coach and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning

Preferred experience

Our ideal candidate possesses...

  • Master's degree or equivalent in business, marketing, or related field
  • 8-10 years of experience in consumer insights, preferably at a renowned research agency and/or in FMCG and e-commerce. Previous experience with an OTA is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Excellent analytical skills combined with the ability to translate insights into successful brand strategies and activations
  • Strong strategic thinking and ability to deliver key messages in a synthetic and compelling way
  • Thorough understanding of various research methodologies and their application in business contexts
  • A doer, at ease in a fast-paced, low-processed and ever-changing environment, able to bring methodology and structure
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to create partnerships with key stakeholders and influence without hierarchical authority (Comex, country managers, product and data teams, rest of marketing team)
  • Full professional proficiency in English and French.
