Job title:

As Technical pre-sales engineer you’re responsible for removing technical barriers in the sales process through opportunity qualification, product demonstrations, and technical presentations. You have a role in all activities that are done before a customer will acquire our solution, laying the groundwork for the sales team to be successful. Moreover, you are responsible for driving growth in EU region for the Clinical Integration & Insights portfolio, playing an important role in the collaboration with other business both internally and externally. The position can be based in Eindhoven, Amsterdam, Paris, Madrid or Brussels.

Your role:

  • Drive new business and growth areas that cover the entire EU span both with internal and external businesses.
  • Bring technical expertise whilst working closely with sales teams to ensure that the products being offered can be tailored to meet the customers’ requirements and needs. This includes to helping to put together commercial offers.
  • Understand how to influence prospects in making the right technical choices according to their clinical requirements, their technical environment and their network/IT infrastructure.
  • Working closely with customers to understand and capture requirements and lead successful delivery of PoC (proof of concept) to demonstrate the integration of medical device data into EMRs or other solutions powered by Capsule.
  • Be the field expert internally to Capsule and be able to provide feedback about new product requirements, objections, competitive intelligence, new technologies and future trends.
  • You are willing to travel up to 30% of your time across the European region (mainly Benelux, France, Iberia and IIG).

You're the right fit if: 

  • You have a Bachelor/MSc degree in Engineering, IT, or related fields with at least 3 years relevant experience.
  • Strong experience within Healthcare IT environment supporting direct customers and partners/resellers (requirement).
  • Experience in SQL databases, HL7 integration, Network&Firewalls and Windows operating systems (requirement).
  • Strong in English. Next to that French or Spanish speaking preferred.
  • An ability to communicate technical information to non-technical staff in a way that is easy to understand.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with multidisciplinary teams, enabling communicating technical information to non-technical staff in a way that is easy to understand. And excellent influencing and networking capabilities.
  • Strong analytical skills to be able to translate market and customer insights into integral solution offerings.
