As the first finance and accounting position, you will act as a true Business Partner to the CEO, helping him to make decisions based on reliable financial data. You will also be responsible for monitoring the company’s reporting.
You will be involved in the following tasks:
Management control: monitoring reporting, economic analysis of financial statements, strategic and operational forecasting.
Coordination with managers to ensure company growth
Supervise accounting, tax and social security work
Reporting and responding to Fairbrics’ needs (in Belgium and France)
Draw up budgets and ensure that they are properly monitored
Ensure proper management of the company’s cash flow
Arbitrate on internal administrative management issues
Carry out internal projects to develop our processes and enable the company to comply with regulations
Relations with external financial players such as statutory auditors, chartered accountants, banks, public social and tax authorities
Maintain a legal, regulatory and economic watch (financial, tax, social and environmental standards).
Manage financial reporting and the data room for fund-raising purposes.
You have a Master’s degree in Finance, General accounting
You have at least 3 years’ successful experience in accounting and finance.
Ability to make proposals
Advanced knowledge of Excel (TCD, macro, etc.)
Strong knowledge of tax, legal and social regulations
Knowledge of fund-raising operations and investor reporting
Ability to demonstrate confidentiality and integrity
Knowledge of national and international accounting standards.
Proficiency in office/management tools
Professional English required
Experience in the chemical industry would be appreciated.
