Past and future
Their story
Quantis’ story began in 2006 in a lab at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Lausanne (EPFL)… A few smart individuals banded together to make life cycle assessment applicable for business.
They soon joins forces with CIRAIG, a research group and center of expertise on sustainability and life cycle thinking based at Polytechnique Montréal, and EMPA, the Swiss Federal Laboratories for Materials Science and Technology.
Over the years, Quantis has continued to find new ways to innovate and amplify its impact. It’s extended its expertise beyond assessment, bringing on board business and communications specialists, corporate sustainability and industry professionals, software engineers and environmental experts.

Action
We implemented the “sustainable mobility pass" for all our employees, to encourage the use of cleaner transport for commuting to and from work. It covers the use of personal electric or push bicycle, bike sharing, public transports or other shared mobility services.
