As Shotgun grows, so does our ambition. We're expanding into new territories, launching fresh ventures, and assembling new teams.

As Head of People reporting to our COO, you will contribute to the company's success by leveraging culture & processes to hire, train, and retain top talent worldwide.


🔨What you will do

  • ✨Happiness & culture
    • Promote a positive & inclusive company culture that aligns with Shotgun’s values
    • Oversee team building activities and other initiatives that contribute to the happiness and well-being of our team
    • Own our global CSR policy
    • Measure employee well-being, address their concerns and issues
  • 🤝Recruitment & onboarding
    • Be the Strategic HR Business Partner to the C-Level (HQ), team leaders and local leadership - identify regional strategies to support and anticipate organizational and talent needs
    • Develop and execute bi-annuals staffing plans
    • Enhance our employer brand to attract top talent effectively, in collaboration with our marketing team
    • Streamline our recruitment process to improve efficiency, and reduce potential biases
    • Ensure consistency in recruitment processes across all geographies
    • Optimize onboarding processes to ensure a seamless transition for new hires, and implement processes to monitor recruitment and onboarding efficiency
  • 🧑‍🏫Training & development
    • Develop an annual employee development program to support professional growth
    • Implement robust and unbiased performance management processes
    • Develop specific career paths for every role with team leaders, and provide clear growth trajectories to all employees
    • Define progression rules, variable compensation, bonuses, incentives and perks adapted to each role and geography
    • Oversee international mobility, including secondments, immigration processes and policies
  • 🧑‍💼Management
    • Oversee day-to-day HR operations across all geographies, including legal, payroll, and tooling
    • Structure, train and expand the People team in line with our growth (currently 1 HR & Office manager based in France)

💡 The job is made for you if you are...

  • 🕐 You have at least 5 years of experience in HR roles, and a proven track record in driving & monitoring culture & people - ideally in a fast-growing, international startup environment
  • 🧑‍🎤 You have amazing soft skills, and are able to rally the team around your initiatives
  • 🧮 You have an analytical mindset and a strong business acumen
  • 📚 You have a comprehensive knowledge of HR matters, including recruitment, payroll, legal, training, employer branding, and more
  • 👀 You are curious, open-minded, and willing to challenge the status quo
  • 🌐 You are fluent in English and French (Portuguese is a plus), and you thrive in a multi-cultural environment
  • 💃 You are passionate about entertainment: whether it's music, gaming, events or another industry - entertaining people makes you happy

This role is primarily based in Paris or Marseille and will involve frequent in-person meetings and travel.

    • Discovery meeting with our HR & Office Manager and our COO (1 hour)
    • Live case study with our COO and CRO (1 hour)
