The practice Actuarial Consulting is managed by an experienced partner, who has been with Addactis for nearly 15 years, and who is keen to offer her staff high value-added assignments in which each individual can fulfill their potential. The Actuarial Consulting team has a proven experience in risk management for insurance companies and provides the necessary versatility for insurers' projects that require a high level of actuarial expertise. 25 consultants of varying seniority, some of them being highly specialized, and others with broader expertise, work at the heart of insurance and reinsurance companies on assignments spanning from a few weeks to several months.

The team develops tailor-made approaches to optimize the systems used by insurers in order to transform the regulatory requirements into real added value for the business. It also contributes to strengthening the involvement of governance in risk management by providing an analysis of best market practices through the addactis® Observatory.

The two Pricing & Analytics practices, one P&C and the other L&H, provide our clients with their market knowledge and pragmatism to elaborate pricing strategies for insurers, both to preserve their portfolio and to help manage it, and find the best balance between profitability and competitiveness.

They bring together DATA specialists and offer a dual actuarial and marketing positioning that responds to the key concerns of insurers: How to fully exploit the potential of their data? What new optimized and innovative pricing models? How to keep up with the digitalization of underwriting? What prevention strategies should be implemented?

Thanks to benchmarks, the work of the addactis® Observatory, the most advanced pricing expertise and a mastery of machine learning and AI techniques, our experts carry out a 360° diagnosis of the profitability of the entire insurance chain: underwriting, pricing, compensation, management... They work to build the notion of customer value "step by step" and offer some of the most innovative solutions on the market.

The Modeling & Risk Life and Modeling & Risk Health teams manage the quantitative management of technical and financial risks (prudential modeling, financial management, reinsurance, etc.) in health, life, savings and retirement.

The Modeling & Risk P&C team has developed expertise in modeling, provisioning and risks in P&C / non-life insurance (provisioning, underwriting, reinsurance, climatic risks, emerging risks, etc.). At the heart of risk monitoring issues in complex and multi-standard environments (Solvency II, IFRS 17, ORSA, etc.), our consultants help our clients to optimise their models and processes, to support them in defining their strategy (ALM, ESG, reinsurance, ERM, portfolio analysis, etc.), its implementation and its management all the way to its production.

Addactis offers a combination of cutting-edge actuarial expertise, R&D and a unique modeling solution enhanced by the addactis® Library, made of complex, custom and standard actuarial models, to ensure regulatory compliance, durability and maintenance of the models, and to propose relevant model choices.

The Product & Technology department, based in Lyon, is the place where Addactis’ product vision is defined and where business and technical expertise meet and enrich each other. This is where the added value of our solutions is realized thanks to the organization of the teams by solution, which include specialists in product management, software architecture, development, software R&D and business experts.

Each team is in charge of design and delivery, production, automated testing, support and operation for SaaS solutions. The entire production cycle is handled in agile mode.

Half of the 50 employees in the Product & Techno department are developers, software architects, product and quality engineers, and half are actuaries, statisticians and engineers who know the insurance industry and understand the needs of our customers, thus fulfilling the role of product owners, modelers or implementers at our customers' sites.
