Dataiku is seeking a Global Revenue Accounting Manager to join our growing team. Reporting to the Global Revenue Accounting Senior Manager, the Global Senior Revenue Accountant will be primarily responsible for ensuring that revenue-generating sales transactions are properly entered in our ERP system (via an integration between our CRM and ERP) so that critical financial downstream activities occur timely and accurately. This role will also be responsible for maintaining key control processes to ensure the overall integrity of our revenue results as well as owning key deliverables as part of our monthly revenue close process.

Main Responsibilities

  • Review standard and non-standard deals to determine the appropriate revenue recognition under U.S. GAAP and ensure that deals are set up appropriately in our ERP to achieve the correct downstream accounting result.
  • Perform control processes and analysis to detect, investigate, and resolve any unusual activity both within the GL accounts the team is responsible for and within our automated billing and revenue system in NetSuite (Zone Advanced Billing).
  • Own the deferred and unbilled schedules, which include the performance of monthly account reconciliations and analytics.
  • Own the periodic SSP analysis. Support the Technical Accounting and Financial Systems teams on both changes to our SSP policy as well as efforts to operationalize any required adjustments within our ERP.
  • Oversee the license fulfillment validation process to ensure license revenue is recognized appropriately.
  • Lead improvement of current processes to drive greater automation and stronger controls.
  • Work cross-functionally with multiple teams, including Technical Accounting, AR, Tax, Deal Desk, Legal, and Professional Services, on both recurring and one-off tasks and projects.
  • Participate in the preparation of accounting memos, including accounting research, for significant and unusual contracts.
  • Support the Global Revenue Accounting Senior Manager on all revenue-related external audit requests.
  • Other ad-hoc tasks and projects as needed.

Desired Skills And Experience

  • 6+ years of experience in accounting, with a focus on revenue recognition/ASC 606. Experience within the software industry is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or relevant certification preferred.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel skills
  • Proven ability to work under pressure in a high-growth environment.
  • Familiarity with NetSuite accounting system and Salesforce CRM. Experience with Zone Advanced billing is a plus.
  • Must be able to multi‐task, prioritize, and be detail-oriented
  • Ability to work as part of a team or independently as needed
  • Familiarity with coding, specifically sql, is a plus.
  • Proven ability to take initiative and be proactive.
  • Must have the desire to learn and to grow.
