The position

Job description

With this role, you will join our Finance team in the Operations department. The Senior Finance Ops Specialist will play a crucial role in bringing expertise in controlling, procurement, forecasting, and budgeting. Your key responsibilities include: 

Financial Planning and Analysis 

  • Develop, monitor, and update financial forecasts and budgets. Provide insights and recommendations to support strategic planning. 

  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support business decisions.  

  • Monitor and manage the company’s cash flow to ensure sufficient liquidity for operations and investments. 

Finance Operations and Compliance 

  • Manage and oversee all financial controlling activities.  

  • Lead procurement processes, negotiate with suppliers, and optimize procurement strategies to reduce costs and improve efficiency. 

  • Oversee the implementation and maintenance of financial systems and software to ensure data integrity and streamline operations

  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.


Preferred experience

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in finance operations, preferably within a dynamic startup environment.

  • Strong knowledge of controlling, procurement, forecasting, and budgeting.

  • Familiarity with relevant financial regulations and standards

  • Full professional fluency in both French and English is required.

  • Previous experience working in consulting is a plus

  • Proficient in financial software and MS Office Suite (especially Excel) are required. Experience working with Pennylane, Qonto, and Lucca is a plus.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capacities .

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with all levels

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

  • Highly motivated and have a hands-on mindset
