The position

Job description

Since end of 2021, Lesaffre has engaged a multi-year transformation Program for the Finance function, with an overarching goal of improving the overall efficiency of Finance while optimizing the quality of service delivered to the business. Named 3F (“Finance for the Future”), this Program is structured around 10 cross-regional transformational initiatives, which revolve around three major pillars:

  • Redesign and reengineer Finance operations and processes
  • Capture all opportunities for automation and digitization across Finance processes
  • Empower Finance practitioners with the necessary best practices, tools, resources etc.

To ensure the successful implementation of the Program, a Transformation Office is set up with several key missions:

  • Planning and monitoring the actions to be undertaken to deploy the initiatives across the organization
  • Handling the complexity resulting from the simultaneous deployment of cross-regional and interdependent initiatives
  • Providing ad-hoc methodological support

DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES

In this context, the Transformation office is looking for its apprentice, a Finance Automation technician to help the PMO in securing the delivery of the 3F Program.

More specifically, the Finance Automation Technician will be trained to:

- Identify new potential use cases for finance process automation, in close coordination with the business teams

- Participate in the evaluation and selection of the most suitable technological solutions (RPA, AI, etc.)

- Design and implement the selected automation projects

- Support and upskill the finance teams in the adoption of new technologies

- Measure and monitor the benefits brought by automation (productivity gains, error reduction, etc.)

- Contribute to the dissemination of an innovation and agility culture within the Finance function


Preferred experience

- Vocational training in computer science and/or organizational management

- Technical skills in IT (programming, digital tools, etc.)

- Mastery of project management and change management methodologies

- Interest in new technologies and innovation

- Strong communication and teaching skills

- Teamwork spirit and ability to work in a cross-functional manner

POSITION

  • The apprentice will report directly to the Finance transformation PMO

DURATION

  • 24 months for apprenticeship, depending on profile, preceded by a 5-to-6-month full-time traineeship
  • Periods:

- full-time traineeship: from March / April 2025

- apprenticeship: from September 2025
