As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and gain valuable experience in high-throughput bioengineering techniques. The goal of this internship is to characterize standardized genetic parts, such as promoters and terminators, using various fluorescent reporter proteins in microbial hosts. This challenge involves cultivation of the hosts in several conditions and monitoring the fluorescence over time, carrying out the analysis of the results and defining the next constructs needed.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in genetics, molecular biology, or related field. Experience in high-throughput microbial cultivation and flow cytometry, is a plus. The intern should also be able to work independently and collaboratively within the research team. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to work on innovative projects and gain experience in a cutting-edge biotechnology company that is committed to making a positive impact on the planet.
