The position

Job description

Gnosis by Lesaffre is currently hiring a Project Management Officer (PMO). This transversal position is responsible for overseeing the organization and management of the portfolio of projects and programs of the Business Unit, from idea generation to project closure.

The PMO provides training and support to project managers and ensure that all projects are aligned with the organization's strategy, objectives, timelines, and budget across-BU departments.

Main missions:

  • Develop and maintain a portfolio of projects and programs at BU level and coordinate prioritization and resources allocation based on objective and validated criteria in agreement with the Leadership Team.
  • Implement the project management policies, procedures, and standards across the organization.
  • Provide guidance, training, tools and daily support to project managers to ensure successful project implementation and delivery.
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular portfolio status updates to the Group and BU management.
  • Identify and manage risks and issues associated with projects and programs, implementing mitigation strategies as necessary.
  • Conduct post-implementation reviews to identify areas for improvement and best practices.
  • Act as a liaison between project teams, Steering committees, Sponsors, and Top management.
  • Contribute to the PMO community of the Group working transversally on the continuous improvement of project management practices and digital tools.

Preferred experience

Graduated from a top engineering and/or business school eventually combined with a specialized Master’s degree or a phD, you are passionate about science, innovation and new technologies.

You can justify of a minimum of three years of successful experience in project management, portfolio management, or a related field.
