Within the Schneider Electric Industry Business unit, Schneider Toshiba Inverter Europe focuses on the development of industrial products such as variable speed drives and soft starters. We specialize in electric motor control, contributing to energy savings and sustainability with our variable-speed drives. Our products stand out for their innovation, high quality, reliability, simplicity, easy connectivity and the deployment of advanced services for our customers.Your role:Reporting to the Technical Manager (Rakesh), you will contribute to the progress of projects by following the principles of Agile methodology and you will be contributing to the automation test strategy. Your missions:

  • Design and develop strategies that will allow us to automate projects by working closely with the management team.
  • Design and develop test automation frameworks and code libraries to enable the team to use and improve them over successive projects, in close collaboration with project test managers.
  • Define, create and maintain the test automation system process.
  • Ensures the capitalization of knowledge and know-how, and monitors technological developments.
  • Lead the system team.
  • Support management in the growth and development of teams.
  • Study and diagnose problems, propose and implement a solution for the test automation architecture.
  • Lead the deployment of new technologies for test automation.
  • Participate in project reviews and internal and external audits.
Your profile: Software or Automation Engineer, with at least 5 years' experience in software development and/or industrial automation and its applications, and at least 3 years' experience in functional project management of a technical team.Your competences:
  • Solid skills in development processes: Agile, Scrum, PM, PEP …, automatic testing software: Test Stand, Test Complete, Robot Framework … and programming language techniques: C++, Python, TCL/TK, Java …
  • Solid knowledge of real-time embedded software
  • Good knowledge of engineering tools: Rational Clear Quest, Jira, DevOps, GIT …, PLC programming software: Control Expert, Unity, SoMachine, Codesys, Step7, TiaPortal, Sycon … and in communication networks: Ethernet IP, Ethernet Modbus TCP/IP,
  • Profisafe, Profibus, Profinet, Modbus RTU, DeviceNet, CANopen …
  • Curiosity, rigor, organization and autonomy
  • The ability to work on several objectives and projects at the same time, while prioritizing them
  • The ability to be critical, to adapt and to react effectively with different departments
  • Ability to lead meetings and make proposals
  • A good level of spoken and read English to work with our international teams
  • Good interpersonal and collaborative skills
