Overview
UMI is composed of 9 interdependent teams:

These teams all work closely together to achieve the same goal: to guide innovation projects to success via direct market feedback. In France, we have two offices: Lyon and Paris.
We're international! In 2023, we launched UMI USA, a subsidiary dedicated to supporting innovation projects in the USA with offices in Lyon, France and New York, USA.

CSM Team
The CSM team is in close contact with customers: They help define offers, offer customer support, the transmission of questionnaires, methodology, project analysis and results presentation. They deliver and transform the feedback collected by the Production team into usable results for the customers.
Key missions:
- Help support our customers innovations to contribute to a better tomorrow
- Work on innovation methodology and questionnaire engineering
- Manage the progress of multiple projects on a variety of subjects

I wanted to continue helping large groups to innovate, and I’d really enjoyed the atmosphere at the company during my end-of-study internship. That’s why I came back to UMI!
Tech Team
UMI’s mission is to help innovation projects grow. To this end, we have designed and developed an application that gives our customers access to their market. The Tech team is responsible for developing and maintaining this application.
Key missions:
- Define UMI’s technological strategy
- Implement key functionalities to better help our customers
- R&D and technology watch

The main technical challenges in my job are to fully understand the issues raised by the Product Owners and writing quality code that’s easy to evolve over time.
Production Team
The Production team matches the right profiles with our customers' innovations. In constant liaison with the CSM team, it ensures that missions are carried out correctly.
Key missions:
- Understanding innovation projects
- Mapping and sizing project ecosystems
- Gathering market feedback

- Rigor, organization, ability to manage several projects at once
- Good interpersonal skills, enjoy teamwork

Our goal is to collect feedback on the innovations we support at UMI, by finding the right people and getting them to react.
