Swann, Human Resources Business Partner
Swann joined UMI two years ago and has been a 100% UMI employee since September 2022: her role is to organize and manage the HR department. Much of her work focuses on recruiting, integrating and following-up with employees. However, the scope of her duties includes all HR issues related to the life of a startup. After integrating about forty employees, Swann has expanded her own team: the HR department has now grown to 3 employees!
One of her biggest challenges? Leading cross-functional HR missions and developing skills in strategic areas, while managing the operational side of the business.
My first goal was to successfully hire new people to strengthen our teams. The challenge was also to maintain and promote our brand identity, and structure processes that support employee development.

UMI is a start-up born from the observation that most innovation projects fail to materialize due to insufficient market knowledge. We aim to optimize the success rate of our customers’ innovation projects by providing that market knowledge, found by carrying out Market Tests 🧭
How? By identifying the key industry players from around the world and by speaking with them directly to obtain their feedback on the projects concerned.
