Over the past five years, I've witnessed remarkable growth within Urban Campus.
Initially, I took charge of overseeing operational facets within our residences in Madrid. As our team expanded, we recognised the need for specialised roles, and so I evolved to the role of Customer Support Manager, with my main mission being to build, from zero, the Customer Support processes.
My responsibilities expanded to encompass the role of Property Manager and presently I've transitioned into a new role as Operations Project Manager—a role characterised by its cross-functional and international scope.
This journey epitomises why I like working here: I have the freedom to carve out my own trajectory.
From the moment they join Urban Campus, our employees are deeply integrated into our products and culture through a comprehensive onboarding experience, which includes a detailed tour of our coliving spaces.
To further instil an understanding of our corporate culture and values, we have implemented a buddy system, pairing new hires with seasoned colleagues for guidance and support.
Additionally, we champion a culture of feedback, ensuring every team member receives consistent, constructive reviews during one-on-one sessions with their managers. This is complemented by a collaborative team environment where the exchange of experiences, best practices, and advice is actively encouraged to foster personal and professional growth.

Fire Campus: Our weekly company-wide meeting. Thirty minutes to dive into the latest updates and achievements. It's a prime time for celebrating teamwork and sharing important company news.
Communal Breakfasts and Monthly Team Lunches: Frequent opportunities to bond, share meals, and foster camaraderie within the team.
Urban Break: A unique monthly event designed to unite teams through a variety of themes. A different employee gets to select and plan this event each month.
Master Plan Meetings: Held quarterly, these sessions are crucial for aligning overarching company objectives, setting new team goals for the upcoming quarter, celebrating successes, and acknowledging the hard work of various teams.
Biennial Offsite: A special event that assembles our French and Spanish teams, offering a chance to connect and engage in team-building activities.
