About the Program
The Air Liquide Leading EXcellence Program (ALLEX) Program is Air Liquide's international graduate program for talented and ambitious fresh graduates from all over Europe.
By participating in this program, you will have the opportunity to kick start your career by making an important contribution to your team and developing your skills on a professional and personal level.
As an ALLEX participant you will:
Hold a permanent position with responsibilities
Develop yourself through two international assignments within Europe (3 months each) over a 3 years period of time. You will discover other business areas, activities, country and working environment of Air Liquide.

As part of the program, your role and responsabilities is the following one.
Reporting to the Global category manager, you will implement the purchasing strategy in collaboration with the Category Managers and Home Healthcare affiliates, in order to optimize price efficiencies, while respecting the level of service provided to the patient. In this context, your missions are to:
Contribute to the purchasing strategy to support international affiliates in their development,
Depending on the level of delegation, define the purchasing strategy for the purchasing category sub-segments and coordinate with subsidiaries and Category Managers.
Implement purchasing strategy for assigned projects:
Consolidate and analyze the needs of all geographies, launch calls for tender, conduct purchasing negotiations and contract with suppliers on project activities defined with Category Managers;
Influence and support subsidiaries in the deployment of projects contributing to global business strategy;
Manage the risks and opportunities associated with Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) for the projects in question;
Identify, propose and lead cost optimization projects in coordination with subsidiaries, using a TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) approach.
Participate in the continuous improvement of management processes and tools.
You have a 5-year degree from an engineering or business school, and initial experience in purchasing management in an international environment.
Skills required:
Successful experience(s) in purchasing management and negotiation
Fluent English, 3rd language appreciated
Good command of IT tools (Google environment, Excel, Power BI)
