MISSIONS, ACTIVITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION

Define a vision, an organization, a development plan, make trade-offs
Communicate your strategy
Leading change
The development of the growth of the GP
Ensure customer portfolio loyalty
Ensure the renewal of the customer portfolio
-Identify development potential (product, sector) and act on the levers to achieve them: objectives, reward, marketing, sales action plan, “selling together”
Lead the Oeprations and Sales team
Control the local economic fabric
Ensure the agency’s influence in the network
Team management and animation
Recruit and integrate: in collaboration with the HR department, source, recruit, integrate new employees and validate trial periods directly for sales and management professions and by delegation for others,
Recognize and evaluate: Evaluate individual performance, set objectives, propose salary and job developments, contribute to People Reviews, congratulate and reframe
Train and develop: promote mobility, develop skills, identify talent, offer professional development, identify training needs and ensure return on investment
Organize the structure and responsibilities within the agency by finding the right balance between economic performance / workload.

Monitor KPIs and ensure their GP/File and Cost/File optimization
Activate the various levers for optimising results: sales, purchasing, payroll

Control the payroll: optimization of resources in connection with the volume of activity, salary changes, monitoring of leave
Guarantee the integrity of the fence
Optimize overhead costs
Manage operational efficiency
Ensure the proper mastery of business knowledge, tools and processes
Implement tool and process changes
Define and implement the agency’s specific processes
Detect and report on the need for improvement of tools/processes
Guarantee the proper application of operational processes

Minimum 10+ years’ relevant experience in the Freight Forwarding industry
10 years’ experience in freight forwarding / logistics / transportation industry required
Sound understanding and knowledge of Freight Forwarding industry
Demonstrated ability to synthesize customer requirements to develop innovative solutions
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Good command of written and spoken English
