Romain Mazeries, our CEO, has been part of our story every step of the way.
Romain acquired extensive experience in international finance and consulting. He then joined MANGOPAY as the Managing Director, first creating the entity and acquiring our payment license (EMI). Romain became CEO in 2018, scaling up MANGOPAY both locally and internationally with many new recruits and projects. Deeply involved in the entrepreneurial landscape, he serves as a mentor for start-ups and strongly supports equality in the workplace. He signed the gender agreement from the Galion project for diversity in tech along with the Parental Act to extend second parental leave for all employees.
In his hands, MANGOPAY now stands as a highly successful FinTech having processed over €14 Billion in transaction volume and with one purpose: to shape the future of exchanges.
Pierre Lion is Chief Growth Officer at Mangopay. With more than 15 years of experience in acquisitions and corporate growth strategies with major media groups (TF1, Bolloré) and PayPal, an international player in digital payments, Pierre is now recognized as one of the key players in the ecosystem of online payment experts and the financial issues of web players in France.
Pierre is working to deploy and position Mangopay as the payment solution dedicated to marketplaces, crowdfunding platforms and the collaborative economy in France and Europe.
Sandra fell for C# development. With various work experiences, she encountered different environments and methodologies including software craftsmanship and agility which she has been using daily as a backend developer in MANGOPAY cashflow team since december 2019.
Elodie joined MANGOPAY in May 2021 as Chief People Officer. With 20 years of experience in Human Resources, she evolved in a large variety of environments on French & international perimeters. She practiced in Industry (Carrier), Information System (Atos) and Health data, technology and consulting (IQVIA) managing high pace growth through recruitments and M&A.
In her role, Elodie is contributing to MANGOPAY development by enhancing further the HR footprint through programs and processes to attract, support and develop MANGOPAY’s talents and make our company’s values a continuous reality in our ways of working: Entrepreneurship, Diversity and Collaboration.
Kirk joined Mangopay in November 2022, following the acquisition of WhenThen, a payments orchestration and operations platform, where he was formerly the CEO and co-founder. He also previously held the Senior Vice President of Product Innovation position at Mastercard.
Bringing experience in software engineering and product management, he has led digital innovation and transformation projects in the banking and commerce sectors with companies such as HSBC, Citibank, Bank of America, British Airways, and Target.
His team are building a world-class modular payments platform for marketplaces and platforms, creating mission-critical connectivity, features and experiences to support our clients’ local and global commercial ambitions.
Ronen joined Mangopay in August 2023 and brings three decades of experience leading high-performing tech and engineering teams. He previously held Chief Technology Officer positions at Bumble (a dating app), Zopa (a challenger bank) and PokerStars (an online gaming platform).
He has worked to implement a global technology strategy, fostering a robust engineering culture alongside providing technical leadership across the business.
His team builds best-in-class products, platforms and cyber security practices, continually improving through tech resilience, data insights and machine learning capabilities.
Olympe joined Mangopay in August 2023 as General Counsel, Legal and Compliance, bringing over 20 years of experience in the payments industry, holding notable positions in PayPal and eBay.
She holds an international business Licence degree from the University of La Sorbonne in Paris and a Master's degree in Law from the University of Lausanne, where she wrote a thesis on the legal aspects of electronic money.
Her team is responsible for ensuring the safety, integrity, and compliance of Mangopay's products and services following applicable laws and regulations. They strive to promote a culture of compliance throughout the organisation and to provide business-oriented guidance and advice on regulatory matters.
