Welcome to the Jungle was founded in 2015 by Jérémy Clédat and Bertrand Uzeel with a mission to put the fun back into job hunting. In the fall of 2015, Proudly was founded in the Czech Republic to help people find jobs where they will be happy. In 2019, they decided to join forces to build Welcome to the Jungle internationally. Today, with over 5,500 clients across Europe, its own media team and over two million unique users, the company is much further along. By entering the UK and US markets, it has strengthened its global reach and become one of the top trendsetters in corporate culture and approach to work. Whether it's through its attitude to work-life balance or employee wellbeing.

Welcome to the Jungle's mission is simple: to make work a more sustainable part of our lives.

This mission is based on our three core beliefs:

We believe that work must be designed to better respect work-life balance. This allows us to feel fulfilled and satisfied at work.

We believe in sustainability not only at work - but also in the environment and society around us. In July 2020, we achieved B Corp certification, which required us to meet high standards in five areas: Management, Employees, Customers, Environment and Society.

This certification reflects our goal of becoming a company that has a positive impact on society. Every day we look for new ways to push ourselves and become even better. From travelling to work by public transport, but even better on foot or by bike, to consistently sorting waste in the office, printing our publications on recycled paper, to raising awareness of important issues such as parenting and work, employee wellbeing and pay equality. But we also want to help on a global level, which is why we have partnered with People in Need to help Ukraine in 2022. Green-washing makes us sick and sustainability is definitely not just a buzz word for us!

The days when companies chose their candidates are long gone. We believe that the recruitment process is an equal dialogue between the candidate and the company. At the end of it comes the important decision of whether both parties want to continue their future journey together. This makes it crucial for us to listen and understand our candidates. We try not to underestimate anything and build our recruitment process to be thorough and efficient, but also challenging and stimulating. During the 4-round selection process, everyone has the opportunity to get to know their Czech colleagues as well as talk to managers from our HQ in Paris. The aim is to get to know the candidate better and for them to get to know our company too.
