Responsibilities:

As a Python Backend & AI Developer Intern, you will contribute to the development and optimization of our AI-driven backend infrastructure, supporting our AI research team in building cutting-edge legal tech solutions. Your main focus will be backend development while working closely with AI researchers on key technical challenges.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Backend Development for AI Systems:

  • Design and develop APIs for integrating NLP and AI models.

  • Create and optimize data pipelines for efficient data processing.

  • Improve system performance, scalability, and reliability.

• AI Model Integration & Deployment:

  • Deploy and manage AI models in production environments.

  • Implement multi-agent architectures and auto-querying mechanisms.

  • Optimize inference performance for real-time applications.

• Data processing and Data extraction

Practical Information:

• 💰 Compensation: 1100€-1400€ per month depending on experiences and trainings

• 🏡 Full remote work possible after onboarding and upon manager’s approval. However, you must be able to travel to Bordeaux or Paris once a month.

Technical Prerequisites:

• Proficiency in Python development, with experience in writing clean, efficient, and scalable code.

• Knowledge of backend development, including object-oriented programming and API frameworks (e.g., FastAPI, Flask, Django).

• Experience with data pipelines for processing and integrating structured and unstructured data.

• Basic understanding of NLP and AI model integration, with an interest in working with AI-driven systems.

• Familiarity with cloud services and deployment (Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD) is a plus.

• Meticulous, curious, and eager to learn, with a problem-solving mindset.

Expected Experience:

• Currently enrolled in a Master’s program (engineering school, university master’s degree, or equivalent) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• Experience with personal or academic AI projects, particularly related to NLP, model deployment, or knowledge graphs.

• Internship or professional experience in software development is a plus, especially in a backend or AI-related context.
