We are looking for a talented Backend Software Engineer, specialized in TypeScript, to design and maintain robust and scalable backend systems. You will be at the heart of our MedTech mission, actively contributing to the development of remote cardiac monitoring solutions.

Your missions:

• Develop and maintain backend APIs using TypeScript/NestJS.

• Implement scalable and high-performance architectures, following best practices.

• Ensure code quality and security through unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.

• Show skills and interest in frontend technologies (Angular/React).

• Adhere to MedTech industry quality standards and related regulations.

⭐️ You are ⭐️

🥉 Background

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience

• 3+ years of experience in backend development with expertise in TypeScript

• Strong experience with NodeJS and common frameworks (NestJS, Express)

• Hands-on experience with message brokers (RabbitMQ, Apache Kafka)

• Expertise in REST API design

• Proficiency in relational databases (PostgreSQL) and MongoDB

• Experience with cloud environments (AWS, GCP) and CI/CD pipelines

• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog)

🥈 Hard skills

Besides what is already listed above, you have/are:

• Highly aware of secure development practices (Top 10 OWASP)

• At least one experience in a microservices architecture

• At least one experience in a high scale production environment

• Familiar with production development workflow (code reviews, branching models)

• Familiar with Testing practices

• Good documentation skills

• Fluent in both English and French

🥇 Nice to have

• Experiences with Front-end frameworks

• Experiences with Industrial framework (Django, Spring, Rails)

• Already practiced TDD

• Open source project development experience

• Knowledge or interest in the MedTech sector is a plus!
