MISSIONS

We are looking for a Business Developer (m/f/d) to drive our growth and help take our company to the next level. Within the German sourcing team, you will play a key role in the growth of ManoMano. 

At ManoMano, a Business Developer (m/f/d) combines the tasks of a business developer and a customer support representative. You will recruit our future sellers and help them increase their sales in the first few months. In doing so, you will have an immediate measurable impact on our growth and enjoy a high degree of autonomy to achieve your goals. 

  • Identify: Find and recognize potential prospects and suitable contacts who can become preferred partners for ManoMano. 
  • Pitch: Present and convince them of collaborating with ManoMano, both over the phone and in occasional personal meetings. 
  • Negotiate: You will be responsible for negotiating the best business terms and ensuring the partnership's success. 
  • Develop: You will oversee the full integration of your new sellers on ManoMano and support their performance in the first few months. 
  • Additionally, you will drive and contribute to cross-departmental projects to further develop and improve processes and tools for business development in Germany. 


PROFILE

  • You have native-level proficiency in German. 
  • A completed degree (Bac +5) or a comparable university education. 
  • At least 2 years of relevant professional experience, ideally in business development or e-commerce. 
  • Passion for acquiring, pitching, negotiating, and engaging with C-level executives. 
  • Persistent and tenacious, you never give up! 
  • Proven ability to communicate clearly and concisely with sales partners and internal teams; excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal skills. 
  • High precision and strong ability to quickly understand complex situations, coupled with a desire to continuously develop in a dynamic environment. 
  • Great interest in the DIY sector and a general understanding of the challenges in e-commerce (UX, B2B, assortment, delivery experience, competitors). 
  • Analytical skills: Proficiency in Google Sheets and Excel is essential (SQL knowledge is advantageous but not mandatory). 
  • Confident in dealing with a fast-paced and constantly changing environment. 
  • Business fluent in English.
